Truly, one of my favorite parts of this holiday season is been able to dress up, nothings better
then splurging on a new holiday inspired outfit. But there’s no fun in buying
an outfit you just get to wear once, this year indulged into winters hottest shoes
trends, the velvet shoe!
This
shoe is perfect and can been seen in many different style that caters to
everyone style- whether it’s a killer heel or stylish flat these plush fabrics
will add extra texture and interest to your outfit. Also, these shoes are so versatile
you can rock a pair of velvet heels or flats to school. So what do you say,

TREND ALERT! From the runway to the main street one of the most wearable trends for Fall 2o13 is a knit beanie. This isn’t the same beanie you were forced to wear as a kid, oh no, now the classic knit beanie is being seen in many different colours, textures, and prints. Also sporting embellishments such as words,jewels,or household names. But most importantly beanies will be the new go to for a lazy hair day, or quick hair fix. So, what do you say? The look is refined and classic, as Katy's makeup tends to always leaned towards. A smokey eye is sexy on everyone, a quick tip when doing a dramatic eye is to make sure
your eye makeup with blurred and blended edges a blending brush will help you master this look, I personally use and love Mac's 217 Blending Brush. Lastly,this dramatic eye looks great when paired baby pink or even a nude lip.I always say it's just makeup— it will wipe off. So have fun and experiment!

NAILED IT

Let's Talk Beauty: Current Makeup for Fall 2013
Say goodbye to the lazy days of summer and hello
to brisk autumn nights. It’s fall, and it’s my favorite fashion season for fashion and beauty. I can put away my tinted-moisturizers, shorts,
and summer dresses in exchange for my knee-high boots, pea coat, and wear more
dramatic make up looks. This fall I am
grabbing my Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay this palette is super versatile, it’s
easy to take a simple look and make it more dramatic within minutes.
My current favorite drug store products are
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara in Black (one of my all time
favorites) & L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation (review below). Oh! And of
course lip products- before I put any lipstick on I always grab my Burt’s Bee's
to ensure lips are hydrated. Some of my favorite colours are plum, light
purple, nude, baby pink and of course red lipstick whether it's a classic retro
red or dark Ox blood shade I love all these shades this fall.
